We’ve been here from the beginning. Before ‘freeride’ was even a thing. Back when skiing was stale and the product was boring. We came into this realm blazing, chomping to reimagine what skiing means. It’s hard to not look back, to not be nostalgic. It’s hard to ignore those pivotal moments in product design – the shaped skis, the early twin-tips, the rocker revolution – that were born in our workshop.

Marker has been a manufacturer of alpine ski bindings since 1952. Founded in Germany by Hannes Marker, the company is known for pioneering releasable binding technology. Marker’s first model, the Duplex was followed in 1953 by the Simplex toe binding which was a huge success in the 1950s.

The family business Martin Magnusson & Co. was founded in 1936 and is now run by the third generation of Magnussons. Both design and development is done at the headquarters in the small town of Hestra. 80 years of making gloves has taught
us that every day is different.
